Dr Gazzanaga’s easy going mannerism set me at ease and his clear and thoughtful answers to my questions were very helpful.

To the point, I was referred to Dr. Michael Gazzaniga of Southland Urology by my highly experienced and well known Dr. Richard Winelands of Caduceus Medical Center. I have a highly unusual PSA, few points shy of eight and Dr.Wieland's numerous testing on my prostate issues was pointing to a possible cancer. I'm a new patient of Dr. Gazzaniga and I had a solid confidence on Dr.Wineland's referral to a more expert of more complicated test which Dr.Gazzaniga is the master for it. He did two sample tests, results back and based on the findings, I'm 85% likely not to have a prostate cancer but I need to be monitored every six months for peace of mind. I'm so glad to be DR. Gazzaniga's patient as my intuition says he is a one of a kind specialist that does not put his patients under unnecessary biopsy, etc. before he is 100% sure the procedure is essential. Dr. Gazzaniga, a man of great character, has a world of knowledge, and his expertise is next level. I highly recommend this doctor to any man with similar issues as mine.

I came in because I had an elevated PSA number which in the past would have meant me getting a prostate biopsy. Dr. Eric Tygenhof was very thorough in testing me with every cancer specific test that was available to him to make sure it was cancer that was elevating my PSA number and not something else. In my case the additional tests proved that the probability of me having cancer was to low to warrant a prostate biopsy at this time and avoided me having an unnecessary biopsy. I am very grateful to Dr. Tygenhof and would highly recommend him. I would also recommend that anyone having any urology problems to check out his utube channel "Dr. Eric". It is very informative. He explains the treatments in great detail which really helped me understand what was going on much better.

I had the Rezum procedure January 23, 2023 by Dr Gazzaniga. The procedure went well, albeit with some mild to moderate discomfort that stayed well within my tolerance. Mild to moderate post-op pain was completely resolved with Tylenol over the following 24 hours. I required no pain medication thereafter. When I removed the temporary catheter on the 4th day I was very happy to see my urine stream had already improved quite a bit, albeit with some pain, again well within my tolerance. I saw some blood in my urine and seepage over a 3-week period, that quickly tapered off and stopped by week 4. My urine flow gradually and steadily improved over the following 3 month post-op period. Dr Gazzaniga was able to take me off my meds at my 4-month follow-up appointment. The Rezum procedure worked well for me. Thank you, Dr. Don P.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gazzaniga for some years. Recently I underwent an "Aquablation" procedure performed by Dr. Gazzaniga. It required an overnight hospital stay, but the result was a return to normalcy. Though the first few weeks of recovery were what I would call slightly uncomfortable, the result of this procedure was remarkable and I only wish it were available some years ago.

Dr. Gazzaniga (Dr. G.) is the best Urologist period. No need to look any farther. He is detailed but at the same time communicates with you like he’s your best Bud. Very professional from booking appts. to surgery. The staff is great. Most importantly he listens and guides you through his recommended course of action. Has two locations in Orange County to serve you.

Dr. Gazzaniga was professional and straightforward. Answered all my questions. Was reassuring. If you're looking for a no-drama professional he would be a good choice.
